Hi, My name is Amy, I am a 31 year old dog groomer and Owner of fairytale Grooms.
My journey as a House call groomer began after I worked for a corporate salon for several years and noticed how stressful of an environment it can be for dogs especially puppies, seniors and disabled dogs or dogs with health issues. It was evident to me that large corporate salons care more about their pockets and quantity of grooms instead of the quality of grooms and safety of pets. So I made it my goal to start my own practice where pups feel most comfortable, their home. Now here we are <3

History of expierence
I Started as a Dog bather in 2022 learning the basics of bathing, brushing, nail trims etc. In 2023 I went to Grooming academy where I learn proper pet safety along with various haircut styles and breed cuts. I graduated in 2023 and continue to learn under our salon leader with 10 years of experience. From 2023-2025 I worked as a professional pet stylist for a corporate salon and made many clients and wonderful pup friends. It was bittersweet but I made the choice to leave at the end of 2025 to work towards starting my own practice. I am now a fully registered and insured business making new relationships with pups and their pet parents and grooming in a stress free loving environment. I groom all ages and all breeds. However due to me being a petite groomer I prefer to groom dogs under 50 pounds.
